Inclusive Education

Light for the World is committed to inclusive education, ensuring all children, especially those with disabilities, can learn and flourish.

We aim to improve learning outcomes and life chances for children and youth with disabilities in sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Targeted support: Providing rehabilitation and assistive devices for learners with disabilities.
  • Inclusive play: Using child-centred design to address barriers to play and learning.
  • Capacity development: Offering technical support to governments and education actors.
  • Advocacy: Campaigning for increased investment in disability-responsive education.
  • Education in emergencies: Supporting education during crises to ensure inclusion.
