Light for the World – vertegenwoordiging in Nederland

Sinds 2004 zijn onze projecten in Afrika mede ondersteund door partners uit Nederland. Tussen 2010-2020 werd Light for the World in Nederland vertegenwoordigd door de Nederlandse organisatie SeeYou Foundation. Stichting SeeYou werd in 1982 opgericht als Dark & Light Blindcare, werd in 2010 lid van Light for the World, maar heeft per 2021 haar lidmaatschap beëindigd en haar naam veranderd in Stichting SeeYou. Light for the World blijft samenwerken met partners in Nederland. We zijn dankbaar voor de samenwerking met Stichting SeeYou in het project ‘We Are Able! – giving voice to people with disabilities’ dat onder leiding staat van ZOA, waarbij Light for the World uitvoeringspartner is in Zuid-Soedan en Oeganda.

We hebben geen vast kantoor in Nederland. Onze projecten worden gemanaged via het hoofdkantoor in Oostenrijk en de landenkantoren in Ethiopië, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Zuid-Soedan, Kenia en Uganda.

Since 2004, our programme work in Africa had been supported by partners in the Netherlands.

2010-2020, Light for the World was represented in The Netherlands by the Dutch organization See You Foundation. See You Foundation was founded as Dark & Light Blindcare in 1982, became a member of Light for the World in 2010, and discontinued its membership and changed its name to See You Foundation as of 2021.

Light for the World continues to collaborate with partners in the Netherlands. We a grateful for the exciting collaboration with See You Foundation on ‘We Are Able! – giving voice to people with disabilities’ a consortium, led by ZOA, where Light for the World is implementing partner in South Sudan and Uganda.
